Theme: Lets’ Get Together with Our D.S.
Rev. Jim Tongue, Farmville District Superintendent, was our speaker. Our district UMW presented him with a special recognition pin. Special music was provided by Rev. Hyung Moon. We had a great program of coming together and sharing what we as UMW have done for others this year. Sherry Guerrant led the Memorial Service for deceased members during this year. Elizabeth McCutchen was our pianist. Betsey Hamner led the Call to Worship. Our President, Sue Mayo, led the business meeting. Our Mission Focus: PATMOS—A stamp ministry which collects new stamps to be issued to prison inmates throughout the U.S. Our Mission Offering was split between Mission Giving and the Southside Gleaning Network.
